Hvide Sande Skatepark is a relatively new little skate park in the middle of Hvide Sande. It is quite small, so it can get a little crowded with kids, but everybody is cool. The weather is often cold, wet and windy, but when the sun is out, this is the place to be.
Not many good skateboarders come around these parts, so if you rip, the kids will cheer you on. The vibe is really chilled, and since Hvide Sande is a well-known surfing destination, you may sometimes find blond surfers cruising longboards in sandals to loud reggae tunes.
The skatepark is located right next to a remarkable church, owned by the local religious Inner Mission. The primary goal within Inner Mission is to spread The Bible’s message of God’s salvation to all people. It is said that the construction of the skatepark was a deliberate effort to recruit children, so be aware of sweet religious locals.
Hvide Sande is a small fishing village with approx. 3.000 inhabitants and located to the North Sea. Here you can find grocery stores, bars, cafes, dining options and hotels.
