Killer Point is almost always on fire, as it collects a lot of swells especially from the northwest direction. It is a really long wave, and it handles big swell quite well. It breaks pretty far from the shore, making the paddle out pretty exhausting, so come physically prepared.
The wave can be powerful, and even have some barrels on offer, You can see the waves pumping from a distance, so it may seem smaller than it really is. Remember, if anything goes wrong you must be able to swim back. But on a normal day the waves will be quite easy to catch and ride, so don’t worry too much.
Sometimes the waves inside the bay fire at high tide, and inside spot is always protected from the northern winds.
